Job description

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a Modern Foreign Languages teacher for a school in Stockport to join their MFL department. This position will be a full-time position, due to start with the beginning of the academic year in September.

The pay for this position is in line with the Teacher Pay Scale (£30,000 to £46,525).

The successful candidate for this position will be a fully qualified teacher, specialising in French and Spanish or German. You will be required to support the MFL department in the preparation and teaching of lessons. You must provide engaging resources and lessons to ensure that the pupil’s learning potential is reached.

Key responsibilities:

  • You will be required to research and plan lessons that will be engaging for the pupils.
  • You must be able to manage the behaviour of the children to create a productive working environment.
  • You must provide beneficial resources to encourage learning development.
  • You must monitor the pupil’s progressions and be able to give feedback to the students, other staff members in the department and the parents.

This school is located in Stockport and is easily commutable to from any of the surrounding areas of Bramhall, Cheadle, and Hazel Grove. This school has an OFSTED ‘good’ rating. This school is an excellent school with minimal behaviour issues.

The highlight of this position is that the school is already performing well, the pupils are engaged in their learning and behaviour issues are manageable. You will have the support of both the school itself and Teaching Personnel, creating a good working environment.

For this role it is essential that you are a qualified teacher. ECTs will also be considered for this role. It is essential that you are willing to apply for a fully enhanced DBS check, and that you are willing to provide two employment references.
