MFL Teacher

DO YOU HAVE A GENUINE PASSION FOR CULTURES, LANGUAGES AND EDUCATING THE NEXT GENERATION?

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons in Spanish, German and French
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports pupils' language development
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress to ensure understanding and retention of language skills
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practises and resources for MFL teaching
  • Organise and participate in extracurricular activities related to language learning

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • PGCE and/or NQT accepted
  • BA degree in a language or education
  • Excellent subject knowledge of Spanish, German and French (other languages are beneficial)
  • Proficiency in a range of languages in speaking, listening, reading and writing
  • Previous experience teaching MFL at a secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Commitment to promoting pupils' language proficiency and cultural understanding
  • Strong knowledge of secondary languages curriculum
  • Genuine passion for languages and teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
