Contract: Full-time
Location: Mainstream Secondary School, Christchurch

A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Christchurch, Dorset is seeking to appoint a full-time Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join their dedicated team from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic MFL specialist to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will ideally offer French and/or Spanish, and will have a strong commitment to engaging students in language learning through high-quality teaching and a creative curriculum.

The school prides itself on its supportive environment, strong leadership, and commitment to student achievement and staff development. This is an excellent role for an experienced teacher or a talented ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a nurturing and forward-thinking setting.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)

  • Have experience teaching MFL (French and/or Spanish) at KS3 and KS4

  • Demonstrate a passion for languages and a commitment to raising student attainment

  • Be an excellent communicator with strong classroom management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
