Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Beaminster, to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher for a September 2025 start.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a French and/or German specialist to join a forward-thinking and supportive school community that places language learning at the heart of its curriculum. The school is passionate about fostering a love of languages and developing confident, culturally aware learners.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be expected to teach French and/or German across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons. The role is suitable for experienced teachers as well as early career teachers (ECTs) with a strong subject knowledge and a commitment to professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dynamic and inspiring MFL lessons that promote a love of language learning

• Support students in achieving their full potential through effective teaching and assessment

• Contribute to the wider life of the school and the MFL department

• Collaborate with colleagues to plan schemes of work and share best practice

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)

• Specialism in French and/or German

• A strong commitment to inclusive and imaginative teaching

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A genuine passion for languages and the ability to inspire young learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
