Maths Tutor

A suited role for a dedicated teacher or graduate looking to raise pupil attainment in the subject across KS3 & GCSE at a larger than average secondary school in the new academic year.

• Maths Tutor  -  temporary role 
• September 2020 to January 2021 in the first instance
• Raising attainment across KS3 and GCSE Maths in small groups and 1:1
• Competitive rate of pay GBP15 - GBP25 an hour based on experience and responsibility 
• Located in Bury - Modern and established secondary school situated next to great transport and road links 
• Post available to Maths teachers of all levels and Graduates with tuition experience

The successful Maths Tutor will be able to motivate pupils to succeed and provide a well-structured learning environment. You will be supporting students across Key Stage 3 and GCSE with Maths interventions to bridge the gap in learning due to the pandemic. You will work collaboratively with the Maths department to devise schemes of work and identify groups of students who require additional support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
