Job description

Maths Tutor – M11 Area (Clayton / Openshaw / Beswick)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Maths tutor to support learners in the M11 area of Manchester, including Clayton, Openshaw, and Beswick. This role involves delivering personalised 1:1 sessions to pupils who may be outside of mainstream education due to SEND, SEMH, medical needs, or gaps in learning. Your focus will be on building confidence, developing key numeracy skills, and helping students achieve their academic goals.

The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge in Maths, experience working with children or young people, and the ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning needs. Previous teaching or tutoring experience is desirable, and you must hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
