Tutor – Mossley (OL5)
We are looking for tutors in Mossley (OL5) to support pupils through personalised 1:1 tuition. Many of these learners may be out of school due to SEND, SEMH, medical needs, or anxiety, and tuition plays a vital role in helping them catch up, build confidence, and reintegrate back into education.
Your role will involve:

Delivering tailored 1:1 tuition in core subjects (Maths and English)

Planning engaging lessons to match each learner’s needs and abilities
-
Supporting pupils with barriers to education, including confidence and behaviour challenges
-
Keeping brief records of progress and outcomes
What we’re looking for:
-
Experience teaching or tutoring children or young people
-
Strong subject knowledge in English and Maths
-
A flexible, patient and supportive approach to learning
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
What we offer:

£25–£30 per hour, depending on experience

Flexible weekday hours during the school day

Weekly PAYE pay (no umbrella deductions)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
