Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our client school in Rochdale, who are looking for a recent graduate to join the on a full time basis for the duration of the 2019/2020 academic year. They specifically want Maths graduates to join their hard working Maths department, which will provide a good opportunity for those considering a PGCE in the future to gain some valuable classroom experience.

• Full time position on a fixed term contract (September 2019-July 2020)
• Opportunity for paid experience in a classroom prior to starting a teacher training
• Work with specialist staff throughout the school to develop your practice
• Short distance from M62 motorway
• Hard working, motivated and friendly Maths department
• Earn up to £350 per week

Our client school is seeking to employ a Maths teaching assistant on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for the successful candidate to gain a permanent position. They are a large academy located in Rochdale. Since moving to a new building in recent years, the school has consistently been improving the progress and attainment of their pupils. The school is well regarded in the local community, due to the progress the school is making.

Whilst working as a graduate teaching assistant, you will:

• Join the Maths department as a member of the team
• Work alongside teaching staff to ensure pupils are working to the best of their ability
• Be proactive in supporting students in the classroom
• Be working with small groups of students, delivering pre-planned activities
