Our client school is a large, well facilitated secondary in Oldham which recently moved into a purpose built facility to ensure students and staff could benefit from outstanding provisions for learning. Working as a Maths teaching assistant at our client school, you will be required to help facilitate the learning of students aged 11 - 16 specifically in Mathematics lessons. You will support the class teacher in the delivery of schemes of work during lessons and providing support when required. As you progress in the post, there will be an opportunity to lead small group booster and revision sessions, tracking their progress and liaising with teaching staff about areas of strengths and weaknesses. This will greatly enhance your application for a teacher training programme and provide you with a skillset suited to a career in teaching Mathematics.
