Maths Teaching Assistant required at a Secondary School based in Manchester City Centre
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teaching Assistant to join our client secondary school in Manchester City Centre. As a Maths Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of Maths within the school, working closely with both students and teachers.
This role will start after the half term, on Monday 19th February and will run full-time until the end of the academic year.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Maths department in planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help with their Maths studies
- Conducting small group activities to reinforce learning objectives
- Marking and providing constructive feedback on student work
- Promoting a positive learning environment within the classroom
- Collaborating with teachers to create resources and materials for lessons
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Maths or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience working with secondary school students is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
