Mathematics teachers near Westminster

This good school is looking for a full-time Maths teacher to join their team in September. It is a strong, friendly school who are looking for teachers who would enjoy working in a small close knit community.

Requirements

  • The school needs strong Maths teachers with UK recognised qualifications for this role (e.g. BSc, QTS, PGCE)
  • The candidates are required to have experience teaching Maths at Secondary, KS3-5 level
  • Willing to run catch up sessions for those students who may struggle
  • Expected to create, plan and prepare engaging lessons

The Role

  • This role has a September start date, but interviews are starting in the next two weeks
  • It is a Full-time role; 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • Pay range from £150-£200 depending on experience and qualifications
  • It is a Maths teacher role, extra-curricular participation is welcome

The School

The school, set in the heart of London, is based on an old Grammar School and has the historic tradition. The core of the buildings are the traditional brick work on the Westminster area, yet the school has been modernised with new a new Arts building and facilities. The Science facilities are 'top of the range' as the school was a Science specialist Grammar school.

Ofsted has rated the school as "good" and the new Head has instilled a cohesive and driven leadership, who are looking to push onto an "excellent" rating. They are looking for candidates who share their ambition and can help the school continue on its upward trend.

This brilliant opportunity has a start date in September for a Long Term role.
