Maths Teacher - Trafford

Are you a qualified Maths teacher looking for your next role?

Teaching Personnel, the market leader of education recruitment, are currently working in partnership with one of our client secondary schools in the Trafford area who require a Maths Teacher from Easter 2019 or sooner if possible. This is a great opportunity for the ideal candidate to take the next step in their teaching career at a school with a fantastic climate for teaching and learning.

  • Full time Teacher of Mathematics post from Easter 2019 or sooner if possible
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406)
  • Teaching both KS3 and KS4 Maths

Our client school is located in the Stretford area of Trafford, a short walk from a local tram stop and has other excellent public transport links. This smaller than average non-selective secondary school has fewer than 900 students enrolled from the surrounding areas of Salford, Firswood and Ordsall. The students have access to good facilities throughout the school due to recent refurbishments. With a positive Progress 8 score of 0.11, it is proven that the students in attendance at this school make good progress and perform to their full potential.

"Mathematics is fundamental to life in the sense that its unique language helps us to calculate, estimate and problem-solve. It also informs many of the choices and decisions we make about real-life issues and challenges and the actions we subsequently take. Students at our school will develop their problem solving strategies which can be used in Maths and applied to everyday and real world situations." Head of Maths.

As a Maths Teacher at our partner secondary school, prospective candidates should have experience teaching up to GCSE Maths. The Maths department are full of hard working and dedicated teachers who are supported by a fantastic Teaching Assistant. The department use collaborative planning and marking to ensure that workload is kept to a minimum, and the students benefit from useful feedback.

If you would like to apply for this post as a Maths Teacher please apply via the link below or send an updated CV to Chris Beckenham at Manchester North Secondary directly, alternatively call on the number provided for further information.
