Location: Clapham, South London
Salary: Competitive daily rates (£135 - £160 per day, depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Flexible supply work (short-term/long-term cover)
About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and adaptable Part-Time Maths Teacher to provide high-quality cover across secondary schools in the Clapham area. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy flexibility while making a positive impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging Maths lessons (KS3/KS4, potentially KS5) in line with the school’s curriculum.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively during short or long-term cover assignments.

Adapt quickly to different school environments and follow lesson plans provided.

Provide feedback to permanent staff on pupil progress when required.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (e.g., PGCE, ECTs welcome).

Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching Maths up to GCSE (A-Level desirable).

Previous teaching or cover experience in UK schools preferred.

Flexibility to work on short notice (1-5 days per week, depending on availability).

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
