Teacher of Mathematics required for large mixed comprehensive Secondary school in Salford.

Due to a departmental restructure, there is a temporary requirement for a teacher of Mathematics to join our partner school in January. This position is initially for two terms, with the possibility of a continuation into the new academic year (2018).

Both experienced and newly qualified Mathematics teachers are welcome to apply for this post, and relevant support will be given to the successful teacher.

  • Full time Mathematics teaching position, January start
  • Initially for two terms, possibility of extension
  • Supportive Maths department, CPD opportunities
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (ÂŁ22,467 - ÂŁ38,250 per annum/pro rata)
  • Located near to Worsley, accessible via public transportation links

The successful Mathematics teacher will join a large faculty, with consistently improving grades and state of the art facilities. Teaching Maths across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four, this position will include full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking.

The Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school is situated near to the Worsley region of Salford, and has over 1,200 pupils on roll at present. Since 2012, the school has had a dramatic refurbishment through the Salford Schools Project and state of the art facilities are available to ensure all lessons are engaging, creative and inclusive of all learners abilities.

For drivers, the school can be accessed via the A580. Public transportation links from Leigh, Bolton and central Manchester also provide a direct route to the school.
