Maths Teacher required- September start- Rochdale

Full time role for a Qualified Teacher with a Maths specialism to work within a Specialist Setting. The role commences in September 2018 and is initial a temporary position which runs for the first term up until Christmas, however there are permanent positions available for Teachers with the appropriate skills.

The Setting is a Secondary Special School which is located in Rochdale. The School caters for pupils with a range of diverse needs including: pupils with ASC, pupils with MLD and pupils with PMLD.

The School was recently inspected and graded as 'GOOD' with outstanding features from OFSTED. The Head Teacher is currently seeking to appoint a Maths Teacher with SEN experience for September 2018. The pupils are currently working between p levels and the National Curriculum, so the Teacher must have a clear understanding of how to differentiate lessons. Please note that to apply for this role experience working within a Special School is desirable, however this is not essential as long as you can demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEN.

The ideal Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Maths specialism
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN in some capacity
• An in-depth understanding of P-levels and NCL
• A clear understanding of differentiation and know how to differentiate lessons effectively to ensure learning is accessible

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
