January 2019 start; full time Mathematics Assistant Curriculum Leader

Our client secondary school is looking to recruit an Assistant Curriculum Leader to join their growing Mathematics department. The successful Mathematics specialist will be the second in command behind the Curriculum Lead and SLT link, responsible for developing new schemes of Mathematics work whilst maintaining a 70 - 80% teaching timetable.

The successful teacher of Mathematics can be of any experience level, having already fulfilled a position of responsibility or looking to progress further into a position of seniority. This co-educational secondary school has been graded as 'Good' in their most recent Ofsted inspection and is looking to push on towards securing an Outstanding grading; therefore looking for a passionate, keen and highly motivated Mathematics specialist who strives for excellence.

Starting in January 2019 at the beginning of the Spring term, the school has this vacant position to fill and given the close relationship with Teaching Personnel is keen to find a Mathematics specialist to take on this highly sought after role.

Highlights of this Assistant Curriculum Lead position:

  • Full time Mathematics specialist required: maintain 75% teaching timetable whilst take on position of responsibility
  • Pay in line with payscale: dependent upon experience - £140 - £180 per day

The Deputy Headteacher at this secondary school who oversees recruitment is keen to secure the successful specialist in Mathematics as soon as possible before or just after the October half term.
