Maths Teacher – Berkshire

A secondary school in Berkshire is looking for a Maths teacher to start with them in September for the academic year initially. The successful Maths teacher will be covering an upcoming planned absence with the Maths department, primarily teaching year 7 – 10 so should be experienced in teaching up to GCSE level.. The school is ideally looking for a Maths specialist who is an excellent classroom practitioner and able to command the classroom taking on all planning and marking responsibilities.

Highlights of this Maths teaching position:

  • Pay will range between MPS/UPS
  • Work within a highly supportive Mathematics department
  • Full time Maths teaching position at KS3 and KS4 (year 7 – 10)
  • Duration: 1 academic year covering a planned absence within the Maths faculty
  • Large secondary school situated in Berkshire with over 4 Maths teacher within the department

This Maths teaching position is a full time position starting at the beginning of the new academic year. Albeit for a temporary period of time, this is a great time to teach at this supportive secondary school given the recent successful results which were attained. The school values personal growth for all students as well as providing academic excellence. They are therefore an over subscribed large school in Berkshire, the successful Maths teacher to be able to engage all students in their learning. The Head of Mathematics is keen on innovative lessons and excellent subject knowledge to ensure a student centric approach.

The school has fantastic facilities with fully integrated and networked classrooms allowing Maths to supplement learning. The school has invested in the latest technology as well as an open access library and amazing sports facilities. The school is located in the heart of Reading, which is easily accessible via public transport. Teachers living in the neighbouring Boroughs are also encouraged to apply for the role if suitable.
