A brilliant opportunity for a teacher looking for an introduction in to their next role at an established and modern secondary school which achieved the best results on record in Maths in the last academic year. 

  • Maths Teacher – Full time
  • September 2020 - February 2021 (Maternity cover)
  • Pay in line with teacher pay scale MPS/UPS - GBP24,343 - GBP40, 490
  • Taking on full departmental responsibility – planning and delivering a full Maths timetable across KS3 and KS4 in line with the current curriculum
  • Areas covered include; Number, Algebra, Ratio, Proportion
  • Assessing pupil progress in the subject
  • Popular secondary school located in the Eccles area of Salford, with a fantastic working culture and desirable values
  • Post available to Maths Teachers of all levels  - must hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)

The successful Maths teacher will deliver a full timetable in line with the current national curriculum, including; Numbers (decimals, measures, fractions), Algebra, Ratio etc. The Maths Teacher will be comfortable delivering lessons to all pupil abilities and be flexible in your approach to teaching. The successful Maths teacher will engage in planning and marking, revision sessions, internal training and parent’s evening when required. Ofsted recently commended the school commenting on the high level of support from the SLT. This will be a fantastic opportunity for the successful Maths teacher.

The school are looking for an Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time temporary basis, covering a maternity in the department, who will deliver inspiring and engaging Maths lessons to encourage pupil to reach their full potential in the subject. Located in the Eccles area of Salford just off the M60 and M61. The school is also very accessible for those Maths teachers who live in and around of Salford including Stretford, Bolton and areas of Wigan including Leigh.
