Maths Teacher – Salford 

Janurary start date - Open Vacancy 

A smaller than average, co-educational secondary school in Salford are currently looking to appoint a Maths teacher on a full time basis starting in Janurary with a view to become permanent. 

Due to an open vacancy in the Maths department, the secondary school located in Salford are looking for a dedicated teacher of Maths to join the department from Janurary. This will be a full time Maths teacher post with a view of becoming permanent if the incoming Maths teacher is a good fit for the school. 

Key Aspects:

  • Full time Maths teacher required in Salford - starting Janurary 
  • Open vacancy – view to become permanent from March
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS - GBP23,720 - GBP39,406
  • Teaching a full Maths timetable across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE)
  • Well structured and supportive secondary school in Salford
  • Both Newly Qualified Maths teachers and those with experience are encouraged to apply
  • Applicants must hold QTS, specialising in secondary Maths

Role and Responsibilities:

-          Deliver a full timetable in line with the current national curriculum (KS3 and KS4)

-          Confident delivering lessons to all pupil abilities and be flexible in your approach to teaching.

-          Take on full departmental responsibility: planning and marking, revision sessions, internal training and parent’s evening when required. 

You will join a thriving and inclusive secondary school in Salford which is very accessible from central Manchester, Bolton and Wigan! The school boats modern learning facilities and is looking for a Maths teacher to join their team who will deliver inspiring and engaging maths lessons to encourage pupil to reach their full potential in the subject.
