Maths Teacher

• Maths Teacher – Full time
• September 2020 - January 2021 initially 
• Pay in line with teacher pay scale MPS/UPS - GBP24,343 - GBP40, 490
• Taking on full departmental responsibility – planning and delivering a full Maths timetable across KS3 and KS4 in line with the current curriculum
• Areas covered include; Number, Algebra, Ratio, Proportion
• Assessing pupil progress in the subject
• Popular secondary school located in Salford, with a fantastic working culture and desirable values
• Post available to Maths Teachers of all levels  - must hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS). Support and CPD available to NQTs due to the current climate.

The successful Maths teacher will deliver a full timetable in line with the current national curriculum, including; Numbers (decimals, measures, fractions), Algebra, Ratio etc. The Maths Teacher will be comfortable delivering lessons to all pupil abilities and be flexible in your approach to teaching. The successful Maths teacher will engage in planning and marking, revision sessions, internal training and parent’s evening when required. Ofsted recently commended the school commenting on the high level of support from the SLT.

The school are looking for an Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time temporary basis, with a view to become permanent, who will deliver inspiring and engaging Maths lessons to encourage pupil to reach their full potential in the subject. Located just off the M60 and M61. Very accessible for all.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
