Maths Teacher

This vacancy has now expired.

Job description

Join an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school with a commitment to staff development in the new academic year. This opportunity is ideal for a Maths teacher looking to secure a permanent position in the future.

Due to schools currently being closed across the UK, we are working alongside our client schools to ensure we can facilitate their requirements when the schools re-open.

  • Full-time Maths teacher required from September 2020.
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490).
  • Teaching students across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
  • Secondary school based in Salford.
  • Full planning and marking responsibilities alongside taking on a full teaching timetable.
  • Plan, prepare and deliver differentiated Maths lessons to meet the needs of individual learners at various levels of learning.
  • Promote positive behaviour management skills amongst pupils and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.

Our client secondary school has noticed a staffing gap within the Maths department for the new academic year and is hoping to recruit an additional member of staff to ensure all pupils are supported.

The school only has around 850 pupils on roll and is based close by to the centre of Salford. The school can be accessed via the M602 and A580 from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Prestwich and Leigh. For candidates without their own transport, the school can also be accessed via public transport from neighbouring areas of Salford.
