Due to an internal restructure within the Mathematics department, our client Secondary school have an open vacancy for a Mathematics teacher from September 2018. The incoming Maths teacher will initially join the school on a full time temporary basis for one term, with the view of securing a permanent contract following the Christmas break.

It is essential that the successful Mathematics teacher is able to take on departmental responsibilities for planning and marking and contributing to the collaborative running of the faculty.

  • Full time post, KS3 and GCSE Mathematics
  • September 2018 start, initially on a temporary basis with a permanent contract available from January 2019
  • Supporting the Maths department with collaborative planning and assessing
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (ÂŁ22,917 - ÂŁ38,633 per annum)
  • Experienced and Newly Qualified Maths teachers welcome to apply for this position

Our client Secondary school is located on the Salford/Warrington border near to the M62 motorway, and has a local train station directly outside the school gates. This newly refurbished mixed comprehensive 11-16 Secondary school currently has fewer than 800 pupils on roll, and with the facilities in place, the successful Mathematics teacher will have the tools available to create dynamic and inclusive lessons, accessible to all abilities.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
