The successful Maths teacher will deliver a full timetable in line with the current national curriculum, including; Numbers (decimals, measures, fractions), Algebra, Ratio etc. The Maths Teacher will be comfortable delivering lessons to all pupil abilities and be flexible in your approach to teaching. The successful Maths teacher will engage in planning and marking, revision sessions, internal training and parent’s evening when required. Ofsted recently commended the school commenting on the high level of support from the SLT. This will be a fantastic opportunity for the successful Maths teacher.

The school are looking for a Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, who will deliver inspiring and engaging Maths lessons to encourage pupil to reach their full potential in the subject. This year the mathematics department saw a record number of students achieving A*- C grades and making Levels of Progress in line with national levels of performance. The Progress 8 measure was one of the strongest in the school reflecting the strength of the maths team and their high expectation and commitment to student outcomes. The school have a dedicated and fully equipped mathematics block. Maths teachers are provided with laptops for teaching and administration and there are also 32 pupil Chrome books available to help with curriculum delivery, along with interactive whiteboards in classrooms. Staff collaborate on the use of new software, the development of schemes of work and assessments.
