Mathematics teacher Manchester

  • £110 - £165 per day on supply
  • Local tram station a minute walk from school
  • Long term full time Mathematics teaching position

Are you a qualified Mathematics teacher looking for a long term position in September?

Due to an unplanned absence in our client schools Mathematics department from September, there is an urgent need for a qualified Mathematics teacher to join them on a temporary basis for the first term, with a possibility of this extending beyond Christmas.

- MPS available on long term supply

- Large community school with harmonious education policy

- Collaborative Mathematics department to support new starter

- M8 postcode, accessible via M60 motorway

- Positive Ofsted inspection showing continued improvements throughout the school

This is an excellent opportunity for a Mathematics teacher to join a welcoming school on an initial temporary basis, and would be ideal for a teacher with previous experience working in a diverse school setting looking to continue this. The school leads teaching in an inclusive style in which all students are given the tools and support to successfully engage with the curriculum, which has paid dividends in the levels of positive behaviour by students in classes and around the school. The Mathematics department is known to be one of the flagship department within the school due to recent successes in attainment and progress, which is accredited to a best practice model and strong leadership from senior members of the faculty.

This post is a supply position initially through Teaching Personnel, but there could be an opportunity to gain priority status at the school for future bookings and this could extend beyond the first term on a school based contract.

If you are a Mathematics teacher looking to work in a welcoming environment for the first term, please send your CV to miles.cardilli@teachingpersonnel.com or call 0161 242 1794 for more information right away as the school are looking to meet suitable candidates prior to September.
