A brilliant opportunity for a teacher looking for an introduction in to their next role at an established and modern secondary school.

Our client school is a successful, over-subscribed community comprehensive school with over 1400 students aged 11-18 on roll and specialist status for Science and Music. Outcomes are very high with 78% of students gaining grades 9-4 in English and 84% gaining grades 9-4 in Mathematics at GCSE.

Our client is the lead school in their Teaching Alliance which provides initial Teacher Training, CPD to partner schools and school to school support throughout Northamptonshire.

The Head Teacher is seeking a talented and committed Teacher of Maths to join the Maths Faculty team in September 2020 in this vibrant and exciting school. Outcomes are very positive and the faculty is well resourced. A level uptake is always high including further maths provision.

Applications are welcome from experienced colleagues and NQT’s who would be supported by a thorough induction programme and would benefit from a range of CPD offered through Teaching Personnel as well as the school.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have Qualified  Teacher Status 
  • Maths as their Specialism
  • Have good teaching skills 
  • Receive pay in line with scale point NQT-UPS (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490).

The successful Maths teacher will be expected to teach a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE alongside taking on full planning and marking responsibilities. The incoming Maths teacher will also need to plan and deliver differentiated Maths lessons the meet the needs of individual pupils at various levels of learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
