Maths Teacher

A ‘Good’ secondary school are looking for an engaging candidate to join their Maths department to teach up to KS4 level.

• Full time Teacher of Mathematics required from April 2020
• 12 month maternity cover in the first instance
• ‘Good’ secondary school in Oldham
• Pay in line with MPS and UPS (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490)

Prospective candidates should have experience of teaching both KS3 and KS4 Maths, as well as being prepared to undertake full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking. This role will also involve teaching a range of students with different levels and abilities, including supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The school is located in the Oldham area of North Manchester and is rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted with their latest inspection in 2018. The department consistently deliver excellent GCSE results and have developed an excellent scheme of work through planning collaboratively to ensure high quality and engaging lessons are delivered throughout.
