Secondary Mathematics Teacher

Pay in line with MPS/UPS 

Mon - Fri 8:30am – 15:30pm

We are currently seeking a Teacher of Mathematics who has the ability to teach students and to help increase their learning ability's in a friendly and welcoming secondary school based in the Weymouth area. The school we are working with is a mixed comprehensive secondary school. The Teacher of Mathematics must be able to raise the standards of all the students’ attainments and achievements within the Maths department and to monitor and support every student’s progress.

The Role:

• Teach Maths to students from all abilities across years 7 to 11
• Ensure lessons are planned with clear lesson plans, aims and objectives
• To take into account the differing ability lessons of students and differentiate work accordingly
• To ensure that the classroom atmosphere is positive at all times
• To deal with inappropriate behaviour quickly and effectively

The Teacher Must:

• Experience in a similar role
• Be a determined teacher who can teach students of all abilities
• Be able to show a strong record of raising student attainment through their teaching
• Have the capacity to bring innovative ideas to the classroom
• Hold a QTS/a relevant undergraduate degree

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
