Maths Teacher based in Tameside from October to July.

Secondary school based in Tameside to appoint a Full Time Maths teacher from October half term till the end of the academic year. The school are willing to take on an experienced Maths teacher or those that are Newly Qualified mathematics. This is a full time teaching post where you will be expected to plan and organise your own work but would be provided with support by the well established Maths department.

The school has been very proactive with the community to provide a leading platform for the youth to develop their skills further. The school prides on getting the best of their students so this can be an opportunity to develop your behaviour management skills and engage with a variety of students. After the contract period there could be an opportunity to grow within the science department and become a permanent member of staff.

The School is located in the SK14 postcode of Tameside with great railway links and just off the motorway for those who drive. This Mixed 11-16 comprehensive school has a high number of students with Pupil premium EAL and SEN. It is essential for this position to have a QTS with experience teaching Maths. Within the criteria it is also essential to have or be eligible for an enhanced DBS and suitable teaching references.
