If so, Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Maths Teacher on behalf of our client secondary school in Central Northumberland. With a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating, this is a great opportunity for a Maths Teacher to teach in a high achieving secondary school.

The Maths Teacher role will involved teaching Key stage 3 - 4 students, with a range of academic abilities. You will be teaching the basics of Maths, to supporting GCSE students with their exams. If you are able to teach up to KS5 students that will be a bonus.

The Headteacher at our client’s secondary school is seeking a Maths Teacher to fill an upcoming maternity, to start in January. Being a high achieving school they are seeking a Maths Teacher who has a proven record of producing high grades and experience working in a similar secondary school.

The successful Maths Teacher will;

• Be able to produce fun and interactive lesson plans to engage with every student

• Have a confident classroom presence to control a large class of students

• Have previous experience working in a secondary school, teaching Maths to KS3-4 students

• Will be able to commit to a full time Maths Teacher role, with the opportunity of earning a permanent contract

• Be a strong team player to work well with the Maths department
