Mathematics Teacher – Secondary School | South West London

Full-Time Role | September Start
Permanent & Long-Term Opportunities
Recruiting via Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across South West London to recruit a qualified Mathematics Teacher for roles starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Maths specialist looking to join a supportive school and make a positive impact on student attainment and progress.

About the Role

  • Teaching Mathematics across KS3–KS5
  • Delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students
  • Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
  • Monitoring progress and implementing intervention strategies where required
  • Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Essential Requirements

✔️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
✔️ Degree in Mathematics or a related subject
✔️ Experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school
✔️ Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
✔️ Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
✔️ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
