KS3 & KS4 Teacher of Maths, for a "Good" School in Portsmouth! Start date: September

An opportunity for an experienced practitioner of Maths to join our partner school in Portsmouth has arisen. Owing to internal promotions, our school is looking for a Teacher who is proficient and skillful in their subject specialism and who can bring experience and ideas to the department. The Maths Department at this School achieves results in line with the local average at GCSE, and provides a supportive learning environment and workplace. This is an opportunity as KS3 - KS4 Maths Teacher to join a successful department in a school where the management is consistent and has a clear plan to build on its current success. The School is part of a large Multi-Academy Trust, that encourages the collaboration of its Schools through a 'regional hub' system. The ideal candidate would:

• Be a Fully Qualified Teacher, or Instructor. PGCE, Maths or related degree and consistent experience
• Be looking for full time employment, but part time will be considered
• Have a good, consistent, proven track record of classroom experience
• Be committed to continually improving their teaching and learning
• Be committed to raising achievement of all pupils
• Have outstanding subject knowledge
