Maths teaching post - Manchester

  • Supportive school with outstanding behaviour
  • Rate of pay to match your experience (up to £160 per day M1-M6)
  • Located in south Manchester, good transport links to M60 and city centre

Maths teacher required for long term supply position at a secondary school in Manchester with outstanding behaviour.

Required initially for this term until Christmas, this is a full time supply post for a secondary Maths teacher starting as soon as possible. The incoming teacher of Maths will be required to take up full departmental responsibilities; including marking and planning books and schemes of work, you will be invited to the departments CPD and training opportunities to work with fellow Maths teachers. If you are a newly qualified or experienced Maths teacher looking for a supply position in a school with great behaviour, this could be ideal for you.

*Excellent opportunity for Maths teachers of all levels (NQT or experienced)

*Rate of pay to match your experience (£100 - £160 per day)

*Located south of Manchester city centre, great transport links

The school is a large mixed secondary with well over 1200 pupils on roll, located roughly 2 miles from the M60 motorway and connecting Manchester to Stockport. The Maths department has a large team of teachers, all of whom work closely to drive results and improve standards of teaching. The head of school wishes to bring a Maths teacher in initially temporary for a term with a view to extending beyond Christmas.
