Fully Qualified Maths Teacher – North Liverpool

Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a vibrant, Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in North Liverpool to recruit a dynamic and inspirational Fully Qualified Maths Teacher. Position: Maths Teacher
Location: North Liverpool
Start Date: Immediate or September start
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (with potential to go permanent)

About the Role:

The school is seeking a passionate educator who can deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. With strong departmental support and excellent resources, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that challenge and inspire learners
  • Teaching across a broad curriculum, including GCSE and A-Level Maths (and potentially Further Maths)
  • Contributing to the development of schemes of work and assessment strategies
  • Supporting intervention sessions and enrichment activities such as Maths clubs or study groups
  • Using data and assessments to support student progress
  • Participating in pastoral responsibilities and the wider school community

Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
  • Experience delivering Maths at KS3, KS4, and KS5
  • A strong command of subject knowledge and curriculum requirements
  • Creative lesson planning and effective differentiation skills
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people
  • ECTs are warmly welcomed and will receive high-quality mentoring and support
