Teaching Personnel are delighted to be supporting a Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in Liverpool in their search for a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented educator who is passionate about helping young people develop confidence and competence in Mathematics.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and inspirational Maths Teacher who can deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will join a supportive and forward-thinking Mathematics department that values collaboration, professional development, and innovative teaching practices.
You will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons aligned to the national curriculum
- Inspiring pupils of varying abilities to achieve and progress
- Contributing to departmental planning, assessments, and enrichment activities
- Maintaining high standards of classroom management and pupil behaviour
- Supporting the school’s commitment to raising attainment and promoting a positive learning culture

What We’re Looking For
- A qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS (or pending)
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
- Experience teaching KS3–KS4 students
- A proactive, reflective, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- Ability to work well within a collaborative team setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
