Job description

Full-Time Maths Teacher – Liverpool (L5 Area)

On behalf of a respected secondary school in Liverpool

We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Liverpool L5 area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a full-time position. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students, deliver engaging lessons, and become part of a supportive school community.

 

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable).
  • Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes a love for learning.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.

 

Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A positive, adaptable approach with a commitment to student success.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage with parents/carers.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
