Make Numbers Count – Become a Maths Tutor in Eastwood & Nottinghamshire

Are you passionate about Maths and motivated to help young learners thrive?

Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated Maths Tutors to provide targeted academic support to students in Eastwood and across Nottinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills to build confidence and unlock potential in learners of all abilities.

Whether you're a qualified teacher, experienced tutor, or a Maths specialist with a strong academic background, we want to hear from you.

About the Role:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group tuition in Maths

  • Help students master key topics, improve numeracy skills, and prepare for exams

  • Tailor your approach to suit individual learning styles and abilities

  • Encourage academic growth and build confidence

  • Deliver ongoing feedback to track student progress

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience teaching or tutoring Maths (Key Stage 2–4 or higher)

  • A teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, Cert Ed) is advantageous but not required

  • Strong subject knowledge and communication skills

  • A patient, supportive approach to learning

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
