Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Dorchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher looking for a new role where they can inspire students and help them build confidence in Mathematics.

You will be joining an established school where high-quality teaching and positive relationships with students are highly valued. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Maths curriculum and the ability to deliver lessons that are engaging, accessible and appropriately challenging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.

• Establish a positive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to participate.

• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.

• Work closely with colleagues to contribute to the wider Maths department.

• Support students in developing both their mathematical skills and confidence.

What We're Looking For:

• QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.

• Previous experience teaching Maths within a secondary school.

• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Mathematics.

• Effective classroom management skills.

• The ability to motivate and engage students.

• A collaborative and professional approach to working with colleagues.
