Maths Teacher needed in Daventry ASAP, FULL TIME!

TEACHER OF MATHS (Required For October 2023 start)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic & dynamic maths teacher who is able to teach the subject at key stage 3, 4 and A level would be an advantage and also lead whole school Numeracy. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is ready for career progression and leadership experience leading numeracy across the curriculum areas.

The Maths faculty comprises twelve specialist members of staff and is one of the most successful faculties in the School, consistently achieving results that demonstrate extremely good progress at all levels. It is a successful experienced team, anyone joining would be well supported.Maths is consistently one of the most popular subjects at A-level. Core Maths and Further Maths is also offered in the Sixth Form. Several students each year progress on to study maths related subjects at higher education institutions.

As a Teacher of Maths you will join a team who work in a highly collaborative manner, carefully planning and further improving the curriculum. They are delighted that students now achieve above national average in mathematics, which of course plays a key part in improving the outcomes and life chances of their students. You will report to the Senior Deputy Principal, and be very well supported by a friendly, experienced, and successful Senior Leadership Team.

About the school: Highly populated, the school is situated in Daventry and hosts exceptional teaching facilities, including innovatively designed ICT suites and purpose-built laboratories, to name a few. The academy is led by the principal who is committed and dedicated to securing achievement for all pupils and has high expectations of pupils and staff; encouraging all young people to work hard and make the best of all the opportunities provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
