Maths Teacher – Maternity Cover (September 2025 to July 2026)
Location: Thornton (FY5) | Full-time | Temporary
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths teacher looking for a new challenge this autumn? Teaching Personnel is seeking a qualified and experienced Maths teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Thorton (FY5) for a maternity cover position from September 2025 to July 2026.
The Role:
- Planning, and delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Work collaboratively with a supportive department to maintain high academic standards
- Ensure students are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential
- Participate in departmental planning, assessment, and school activities
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
