Are you looking for your next role in September 2024? Teaching Personnel are working closely with a secondary school in Eastbourne who are looking to appoint a full-time English teacher in the new academic year.
- Full-time English teaching position
- DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
- Pay in line with MPS and UPS Scale
- School open to applications from Newly Qualified English teachers and experienced English teachers
PAY: £30,000 - £46,525
As an English teacher you will be expected to deliver a range of carefully crafted schemes of work that cover the three skill areas of: Reading, Writing and Speaking & Listening. These schemes of work focus around a variety of different texts and writing skills. Your learners will be regularly assessed across the skill areas, using a range of Assessment Objectives, and will have two summative assessments aimed at preparing pupils for their GCSE examinations.
Being part of this school offer you a supportive environment that believes in regular training for their teachers and departmental reviews. The Head of English is also considering applications from NQT’s as well as more experienced English teachers.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
