A small mixed comprehensive Secondary school in the Bury LEA have an upcoming requirement after the Christmas period for a teacher of Mathematics. This position will initially be a full time temporary role until July 2018, with the opportunity to secure a permanent role in the new academic year.
It is essential that the appointed Mathematics teacher can successfully reinforce positive classroom management strategies, and implement the values of the school during each lesson.
- Full time Mathematics teaching position, January 2018 start

- Pay in line with teaching scale point (£22,917 - £38,633 per annum)

"Due to departmental restructure, we have an upcoming gap within the Mathematics department. The position will incorporate the teaching of both KS3 and GCSE, and the appointed teacher will be expected to partake in full departmental responsibilities. We are open to accepting applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers for this position, and there is a permanent contract available for the successful Mathematics teacher." - Head Teacher
The school has a small population with slightly over 700 pupils currently on roll. Ofsted inspections have praised the school consistently for their inclusivity and diversity, along with the provisions that are in place to support students of all abilities. The incoming Mathematics teacher will work from a full timetable and be responsible for planning and marking.
Located near to the Whitefield region of Bury, the school can be accessed via public transportation links from Manchester city centre. As the school is directly opposite the M66 Motorway; it is easily accessible from neighbouring areas Bolton, Salford and Rochdale.
