Are you a maths specialist looking for a new exciting opportunity in a ‘good’ secondary school in North West Bristol? Or an ECT looking to kickstart your career within a welcoming and committed team this September 2023?

A successful and heavily oversubscribed secondary school with a thriving sixth form is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Maths Teacher to join the mathematics department to ensure the next generation are fully equipped academically with numeracy knowledge! We are looking for someone who can not only deliver academic success, but can create a safe and stimulating environment for students to socially thrive in too.

Full time position but part time can be considered.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A passionate maths practitioner
  • A person with solid knowledge of the relevant subjects, including knowledge of monitoring and assessment techniques.
  • Teaching or tutoring experience in maths at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • A desire to acquire new skills and put them into practise to improve teaching and learning.
  • A teacher who sets high standards and exemplifies them.
  • A teacher who can inspire a variety of learners with varying needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
