Our school based in Farnborough are looking to appoint a Teacher of Mathematics to aid the faculty in running and managing the increase of attainment of our pupils from October 2018. This job will give you the experience and confidence needed to launch a successful career in teaching for the foreseeable future. The correct candidate will be:

  • An interest in promoting maths throughout the year groups to encourage students to participate fully
  • A Teacher who is interested in boosting attainment of pupils

This role is suitable for NQT's and you will be fully supported during your induction year, if you are an NQT you will not be expected to assist in the running of the department

The School:

The school located in Farnborough, is larger than average and supports a friendly and supportive society of pupils and staff. There is a heavy emphasis on creative aspects of curriculum and support extra curricular events and clubs.

The school has recently undergone large changes to SLT with a new head teacher and newly appointed assistant head teachers, the main focus being the "rapid improvement" to the school as a whole tackling existing behaviour issues and lack of significant improvements for pupils. This is well underway and the school are fully expecting to improve their grading at their next Ofsted inspection.

Having been to the school on multiple visits and working with teachers who are currently working there, behaviour in recent years has significantly improved under the new leadership with new initiatives coming into place to add further aid to teachers and support staff.

The school located Farnbourgh is a short distance from the M3 as well as the A325 so easy to access via car.
