We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming secondary school located on Fairfax Road, Sutton Coldfield, for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering engaging Maths lessons and inspiring students to achieve their full potential. Your role will involve delivering engaging, high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment while supporting pupils to develop their mathematical knowledge, confidence, and academic achievement.

As a Maths Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum
• Teaching across KS3 and KS4
• Assessing, monitoring, and recording pupil progress where required
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and the wider school community
• Following all safeguarding and school procedures

We are looking for candidates who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)
• Have experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
• Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Have strong subject knowledge and effective communication skills
• Are passionate about raising student attainment and engagement
• Are adaptable, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching
• Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one
