I am working on behalf of a mainstream secondary school in Preston, Lancashire who are looking to appoint a Maths Tutor/ Support Assistant on a full-time basis in the run up to the GCSE's in summer. This role will involve the delivery of the Maths curriculum to groups of KS4 students and on a 1-2-1 basis. The activities will be planned by yourself under the direction of the Head of Maths based on the students attainment levels.

The role is currently 5 days a week, however there may be some flexibility on this if the Maths Tutor is looking for part-time work.

This is a smaller than average secondary school in Preston with around 750 students on roll and is located close to the centre of Preston with easily accessible public transport links and on site parking facilities. Behaviour of the students is generally good and senior management have proved to be very effective in their leadership duties.

The school are looking for the following in a candidate:

- Excellent knowledge of the Maths curriculum

- Experience of delivering Maths to students on a 121 or small group basis

- Maths Degree
