Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant Opportunity, Blackpool, Lancashire (FY1)

A 'GOOD' primary school in Blackpool (FY1) are seeking a maths graduate teaching assistant to join their KS2 team on a full time basis starting ASAP. The school are looking for a proactive Teaching Assistant, who has prior experience working with primary aged children, to support in their Year 5 and 6 classes. The successful candidate will run interventions with groups of children to aid their progression in maths to encourage them to meet their expected levels. The ideal educator will have an understanding of the KS2 maths curriculum and will have prior experience supporting children’s learning within an education establishment.

The role is to work at a lovely, forward thinking primary school in Blackpool. The school are looking to improve their maths results next academic year so are putting support in place to encourage learning starting in the summer term. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting small groups of children across KS2 through maths interventions.
