Maths Cover Supervisor Opportunities – Flexible & Full-Time Maths Roles Available
Location: Secondary Schools Across Liverpool
Employer: Teaching Personnel

Salary: £95 - £110 (based on experience and length of contract)

Teaching Personnel is seeking dynamic, reliable, and confident individuals to join our team as Cover Supervisors, with both flexible day-to-day and full-time subject-specific roles in Maths available.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects (or primarily Maths, for full-time specialists)
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Ensuring students remain on task and engaged with their learning
  • Reporting back on lesson outcomes to teaching staff

Ideal Candidate

  • Graduates considering a future in education
  • Experienced Cover Supervisors or Teaching Assistants

A background in Mathematics or related subjects is highly desirable for full-time Maths cover roles.

Requirements

  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Confident classroom presence and good behaviour management skills
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
