Maths Graduate Cover Supervisor

About the Role
Are you a Maths graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching?
We're recruiting an enthusiastic and confident Maths Graduate Cover Supervisor to support local secondary schools. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a PGCE, teacher training, or a long-term career in education.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, including Maths.
- Engage and motivate students using your strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour.
- Support students with classwork and encourage independent learning.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff following each lesson.
No teaching qualification is required—just confidence, adaptability, and a passion for working with young people.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Maths or a related subject.
- Experience working with young people in the UK (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, coaching or youth work).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence managing a classroom.
- A proactive, professional and adaptable approach.
- A genuine interest in education and supporting young people.
