Are you a recent Maths graduate with a passion for education and a desire to inspire the next generation? A thriving secondary school in Chorlton-cum-Hardy is seeking a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience, support pupils with varying abilities, and explore a career in teaching, tutoring, or education.

Your Role Will Involve:

• Supporting Maths teachers in delivering lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Providing targeted intervention and 1:1 support for students who need a confidence boost in numeracy

• Assisting with exam preparation, homework clubs, and in-class activities

• Helping to track pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

• Building positive relationships with students and encouraging a growth mindset

Ideal Candidate:

• A recent Maths or related STEM graduate (2:2 or above)

• Passionate about education and helping students overcome barriers to learning

• Confident communicator with strong numeracy skills

• Patient, enthusiastic, and eager to gain school-based experience

• Previous experience working with young people (in schools, tutoring, mentoring or volunteering) is desirable but not essential
