Are you a Graduate in an Maths based subject?
Have you achieved your bachelor's degree or are you scheduled to complete your degree in summer 2019?
Are you looking to start your career in secondary education?
If you can answer yes to the above then we want to hear from you. We are looking to appoint Maths graduates to a 12-month, paid, Teaching Assistant role designed to give you the experience that you need to both secure a place and excel at your Initial Teacher Training (ITT).
A Secondary (11-16) School based in North Liverpool, with excellent public transport links and access of the M65. The site has modern facilities and a plan for constant improvement to ensure that pupils are working in the best possible learning environment. Being part of a nationally recognised teaching school, you will gain access to some of the best support available to aspiring Teachers, there is also full support available to ensure that you are able to navigate your application process onto your chosen ITT route.
Candidates can expect to spend their 12 months completing a variety of roles including Intervention, Classroom support, 1:1 pupil mentoring and Cover Supervisor. This will all be supported by regular input from experienced classroom practitioners.
